Line 3 on your paper · Toronto · 10 Armoury Street

Your paper says 10 Armoury Street.

10 Armoury Street is the Ontario Court of Justice Toronto. Six criminal courthouses became this one building. The address printed on your paper is the one that counts.

The Toronto paper, line by line

Four lines only 10 Armoury has.

The charge, the conditions and the fingerprint date read the same at any courthouse. Every line on the paper is explained once, on the papers page.

Courthouse10 Armoury Street, M7A 0B9
One building, criminal and criminal youth court only: no family court, no small claims. The criminal office (416-212-2701) is open weekdays from 8:30 to 5:00. Its counter takes walk-ins 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (ontario.ca, checked October 21, 2026)
An older addressfrom before the move
The building replaced six criminal courthouses and fully opened in 2023. If your paper names 1911 Eglinton Avenue East or another old courthouse, call 416-212-2701 and ask where to go.
Not the bail centre2201 Finch Avenue West
That is the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, where adult bail is held. Released by police with a paper and a court date? That date is usually at 10 Armoury, not Finch.
Courtroomby police division
Toronto sorts its first-appearance rooms by police division. Find the division on your paper, then match it on the Ontario Court of Justice 10 Armoury page (checked October 21, 2026).

Line 2 · the first morning

Division number first, then the room.

Nobody asks you to tell your side of it. Usually nothing is decided about guilt.

  1. Match your division to a room. The division is on your paper; the room list is on the court's 10 Armoury page.
  2. No lawyer yet? Toronto duty counsel has a phone menu.Call 416-646-1286. Press 1 for English or 2 for French. Then press 3 if your date is today or tomorrow, or 4 if it is two or more days away. Or email TOCrimDC@lao.on.ca.

Toronto handles the court date. The rest of the pile from that night runs on clocks of its own.

Toronto, briefly

Asked at Armoury Street.

Is there still a courthouse in Scarborough or North York for impaired driving?

Not for criminal charges. Ontario's court list shows no criminal court in Scarborough, and 47 Sheppard Avenue East in North York lists family and small claims only. A Toronto impaired driving date is usually downtown at 10 Armoury.

Which courtroom do I go to at 10 Armoury?

Toronto assigns rooms by police division, not by charge. Find the division on your paper, then match it on the Ontario Court of Justice's 10 Armoury courtroom list. The list changes, so look again the week of your date.

Can I appear by Zoom at 10 Armoury?

Each case management room at 10 Armoury has its own Zoom details, posted on the Ontario Court of Justice page for the building. They change, so copy them from that page, not from a search result. Ask on the call whether video fits your date.

Do I have to go to 10 Armoury myself?

If you don't have a lawyer yet, go yourself. A missed court date can lead to a warrant. Whether your charge and your 10 Armoury date need you there in person is a question for the call. You don't need to explain the night to ask.
